The Details: Idaho Farmers Markets Association reimbursement program for specialty crop advertising
Summary: The Idaho Farmers Market Association is offering a 2nd round of funding to help Idaho farmers markets retain, recruit, and promote specialty crop vendors and highlight community involvement through small scale funding opportunities around specialty food crops.
Purpose: Funds will allow farmers markets the flexibility to choose their own methods of advertising and promotion of specialty crops and vendors. The goal is to increase sales, education, and consumption of these products sold at Idaho farmer markets.
Funding: $450 per market reimbursed for expenses between June 30 and August 30, 2024. First 10 successful applications will be funded.
Requirements: Market must be a current, paid member of IFMA. Funds may be used for advertising, flyers, brochures, displays, activities in promotions of specialty crops. Funds can only be used for promotion of specialty crops.
Potential Impact: Educating the public about healthy whole foods and buying local produce.
Objectives: Increase traffic to your market and enhance sales to your specialty crop vendors.
Goals: to provide markets with more specialty crop vendors and retain those vendors through exposure from advertising etc.

Deadline to submit receipts: August 30, 2024
● Eligible criteria: must be a IFMA current paid member
● Must report back to the IFMA on use of funds and successes. Markets must submit receipts and reporting forms by August 30, 2024 to get reimbursement.
● Funding $450 per market; 10 markets.
● Deadline June 30 or until 10 markets have been selected.
